Tsunami

As of now, approx. 5000 people have been killed as a consequence of the largest earthquake in 40 years and its resulting tsunamis. Folks from Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, the Maldives, Indonesia. 28 folks died in M'sia as well. The (8.9 on the Richter scale) quake was centred about 90km off the west, Hindi-Ocean facing coast of Sumatra. Tremors were actually felt from Damansara to Penang. Thousands more are injured, over a million homeless. And there's no telling the economic and public health consequences that might follow. At the moment, I'm grateful and thanking God that our home was spared the main impact of this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.
